About Us
In 2020 we were hit by the covid effect, which gave us the opportunity to reassess what we were doing and how we were doing it.
Like many people, we've become more aware of the environmental impact we have on the planet and we started to look at ways we could make a difference.
We were already vegan, after understanding the impact of farming on the world, and that was the easy bit compared with working out how we reduced our plastic consumption and general waste.
The more we thought about it, we realised our ikigai was in making it easier for people to reduce waste, both plastic and landfill, and reuse and recycle what they already have, and the Refill Shop of Ikigai was born!
